Happy Independence Day! to all my fellow Indians. Today is 15th of August and we celebrated the spirit of independence, the spirit of our Tricolour or the “Tiranga”, the national flag of India with this tricoloured and triflavoured idli.
The same usual idli recipe infused with colouring and flavouring agents for creating a visual and gastronomic delight. Just added & mixed some tomato and coconut chutney for the saffron colour and dhaniya pudina (mint & coriander leaves) chutney for the green colour with the batter and the end result was fun.
